What is your self-image? Are self-image questions, personality profiles, Kolbe test give you a correct answer?

There is a fundamental built-in error in tests that involve answering questions about ourselves. I have found that personality tests that rely on your knowing yourself and to predict what you would do in certain situations, are profoundly flawed. I … Continue reading

Cognitive biases, blind spots, a sticky point and a “remedy”

center-of-the-universe-2011We are all born seeing ourselves as the center of the world. We don’t know we are the center of our world… we just don’t know there is any other vantage point to look from.

Most of us never learn it.

Like one of my students: every time I recommend anything, she answers: “I agree…”

She hasn’t crossed that threshold, that divide between infant and even toddler… absolutely and completely ignorant to the fact that using the personal vantage point is ineffective, because it is delusional.

This is also true if and when you can see that other people see things differently from how you see them, but your view is accurate and theirs is inaccurate.

Same delusional,

More health knowledge… I’ve learned the hard way

  1. food-cravingsYou eat what you are, you crave what you are

Every plant, every animal contains toxins that it developed to protect itself from being eaten and extinguished… The selfish gene makes sure of that.

Your body, ancestrally, developed a liking and a tolerance to certain foods… that allowed it to survive.

It takes a long time for a group of people to create an ess with certain foods.

What makes the Japanese thrive may kill you… What an Irish can subsist on will kill you… What a Kenyan runner thrives on is murder for you… or can be.

With grocery stores carrying foods from so many continents you are not safe and you don’t thrive.

How many individuals do you know that thrive? I don

Live like a White Peacock… do things for the love of doing things…

side-peacockI love reading. My favorite books tear down the proverbial curtain of the Wizard of Oz.

And my favorite activities… you could guess, are when I can tear down the curtain… and actually show the naked reality of things…

I find delight in it.

I used to be a dreamer, an escape artist, an avoider.

I saw reality so distasteful, myself so unattractive and unbecoming, that I went into daydreaming, and fantasizing, and imagery to find solace.

I haven’t become more attractive, but I have stopped hoping that being attractive, or heroic, or good, or altruistic, or brilliant, or whatever would buy me something I’d actually want.

More on the Energizer® and on what else you can do with it other than energize water…

fridge-water-bottlesThe Energizer audio, when used on vegetables and fruits that have been treated with toxic pesticide, can reduce the toxicity of the pesticide to the level that is a tolerable level.

But: the cell water of all living things is coherent… i.e. 650 on the vibrational scale. The Energizer does nothing for that.

A student of mine asked if it would be useful, and then did some experiments. She sent me her muscle testing results.

According to her muscle testing the vibration of vegetables slowly grew, as a result to being exposed to the Energizer, grew to 650…

My results don’t show that. You can’t raise the vibration of something that is already on that level… but…

Donald Trump: soul correction, vibration. overall intelligence… the other side of The Donald

the-other-side-of-donald-trumpSoul correction… if it is accurate and really something recognizable, then you should be able to tell someone’s soul correction without knowing their birth date.

Of course you need to know the person well.

This is exactly what happened this morning.

I found an email in my inbox recommending an article on what Tony Schwartz, Donald Trump’s “The Art of The Deal” book’s ghostwriter has to say now that the Republican’s make Donald Trump their presidential candidate. Donald Trump: personal vibration: 70. Number of spiritual capacities: 4, overall intelligence, including emotional and spiritual intelligence: 30. Arrogance.

arrogance is looking down... comparisonI have been dealing with arrogance in my students.

Arrogance is unearned boastful superiority.
Most people don’t know, don’t care because they themselves are not achievers… but you can have confidence that is justified by your accomplishments, your superior knowledge.

To the uninitiated, they look and sound the same. But they aren’t. You only need to scratch the surface.

I have detected a certain ancestral commonality in that behavior.

And have been pondering why and how and for what purpose are certain nationalities arrogant.

Is your body stuck in survival mode? Framework for health

Ci1HejlWkAAtPLOThis article starts out very philosophical. If you can’t stand that, jump to here…

What is health?

No one has defined it yet, because just like “good” was until Dr Robert Hartman came along to define it, existed only in a context of good this or good that.

Download the pdf version of this article at the end of the article

What Robert Hartman said is that good is that which fulfills completely its design. That which is most fully itself.

One of the most useful things I have ever done for myself

One of the most useful things I have ever done is this:

I would find a mentor. I offered my services to do whatever needed done. More often than not I learned useful skills through the doing. Skills that I needed for myself. And while I was around the mentor, I could learn from him.

Life needs a lot of skills to do life successfully. The opportunities to learn those skills is sparse… Because skills are not knowledge, even if they are mental, intellectual skills: they are the ability to do, to perform a skill… not to understand it.

skillsTo learn skills on your own stuff is very difficult. Why? Because you are too invested, you

What if you have something blocking you from growing? The Seven Boulders principle

BoulderSome ten years ago I learned a valuable way of looking at making life meaningful, or living a meaningful life. The teacher suggested that we pick a horizon, a direction, and then look what’s blocking the way of getting there.

Since then I saw that even seeing the horizon is blocked… Blocked by seven boulders, lined up one behind the other, blocking your view, blocking your movement.

So, in my coaching practice, when I ask people to set a direction, and they can’t see any, I am inclined to suggest that they choose the direction: living a meaningful live, or a fulfilled life… without specifying what it is.
