How not to have your spine shrivel up on you?

It’s New Year’s day. Billions of people give and get strokes… ((A stroke (in Transactional Analysis) is a unit of social transaction. A hug. A nod. A smile. A hello, a thank you, a “how are you?”, or an f… you…. these are all social transactions. The more you get the less your spine shrivels up on you…

Experiments show that babies stop thriving if they have insufficient social transactions… Other experiments how that rats are the same way. But the most surprising thing is: for a rat (and I guess for a human) an electric shock, a slap on the face, and insult also count as a stroke… preventing their spine from shriveling up.

My personal interpretation is: as long as life tells you you exist, you want

How to start preparing your brain to build a latticework to hang new knowledge on?

the latticeworkI woke up with a question: how do you build a latticework to hang all your knowledge on?

I have built a latticework, but I did not do it consciously. I just noticed that I had it and others didn’t.

As usual I wrote down the question before i went to sleep last night, but the answer wasn’t there this morning. Only the question. Urgently.

So I came to my computer, and the first link I clicked took me to an answer. Maybe THE answer. No accidents there… I clicked on a link on a website I normally don’t click on anything.

The narrative… the story that creates who you are

The narrative ((narrative:
* 1.a story or account of events, experiences, or the like, whether true or fictitious.
* 2.a book, literary work, etc., containing such a story.
* 3.the art, technique, or process of narrating, or of telling a story: Somerset Maugham was a master of narrative.
* 4.a story that connects and explains a carefully selected set of supposedly true events, experiences, or the like, intended to support a particular viewpoint or thesis: to rewrite the prevailing narrative about masculinity; the narrative that our public schools are failing.))

A student of mine, after listening to my last Sunday call recording, asked why Jews turned to a different strategy than the slaves from Africa. Or Native Americans.

What is Kabbalah and Why Should You Care?

kabbalah-centre tikkunImagine that you got yourself a car without a user’s manual. Or a computer. And there would be no person that you know that even knows what they are about… these items would rust, collect dust, be in the way… instead of giving you the power to quickly get from one place to the other, or to solve seemingly impossible problems, communicate to millions with your computer.

This is exactly the situation with regards to life on Earth, with regards to human beings.

Billions of people wonder, daily, why they are here, and what they are supposed to do. Are you one of them? I sure am and have been.

Billions of people wonder why life isn’t working the way it is supposed to work… because somehow we KNO

Everything you ever wanted is available to you, if…

Everything you ever wanted is available to you, if…

… if you are willing to look at see what is so about you and your life.

The truth. Naked. Ugly. Often shameful.

Here is a correspondence I had with a client today:

She said: “I’m interested in changing my context since it’s part of what keeps me stuck.”

“… answering the questions: what am I doing? Why am I doing it?

Unless you have done the work of identifying what you have been doing, and why you have been doing it, no way you can shift the context. You cannot catch what you can’t see. And you cannot change what you can’t catch.”

To the degree you are able and willing to do that, to the same degree you can change your life. ((

Equality, racist, collusion, big words you throw around

race, racist, racismYesterday I used the free community van to get to two stores I cannot get to easily on my own.

Note: in the illustrations I am not taking sides. I am illustrating that there is confusion and disagreement in what is race, what is racist, what is racism, and what it does is it makes people rigid, lie about what they think, and vote for Trump… ugh.

The driver of the van, PhD in sociology, asked if it bothered me if he continued to listen to NPR radio ((National Public Radio)) . It was a public debate in Trump and if he was a racist.

I listened for at least half an hour, and observed that no one bothered to define what they meant by

The essence of teaching is that someone learns, not the act of teaching. So if I learn, then he taught.

I saw something today that can be important to for you to learn, because I don’t think you know. The connection between your vocabulary and your deserving factor

The connection between the number of words you can correctly use in writing or in speaking and your intelligence, your worth a damn factor, and your deserving the good life… or not.

I am a reader. I read a lot. But yet, a whole new world opened up for me when I started to read on the Kindle. Why? Because it has a built in dictionary. As a result, I have added, to date, 2,000 words to my vocabulary.

It was very cumbersome to read with a dictionary before… I would lose my place, etc.

But the Kindle has made it possible.

I find the word… but sometimes the word in the dictionary is not useful.

I am reading Seneca, the person with whom my teaching of how to live life, how to be happy, i

New insights on cell hydration, tiredness, your immune system, diabetes, cancer, and your life expectancy

  • If you pee often
  • If your pee is light
  • If you have to get up in the middle of the night and pee
  • that means: your cell hydration is low.
  • it may also mean: you have diabetes or pre-diabetes. Diabetics have low cell hydration. this may be the reason they don’t accept the sugar into the cell… Because sugar would break even bigger havoc in the cell… it would dry out the cell completely.
My hunch is that hydrating the diabetic’s cells can end the diabetic misery… But it needs testing. If you have diabetic friends, family members: you owe it to yourself to test the Energized water on them. Diabetes can cost tens o

She came from her strength…

My friend from my youth, Panni, just turned 70 years old.

Her family, husband, two sons, made a video for her, interviewing friends. She lives in Budapest, where we graduated from Architecture School together, 46 years ago.

It was interesting to watch. I witnessed friendships for friendship sake, I witnessed Americans with no insight, only asking: when are you coming to the USA?

I witnessed gratitude. She moved from the suburbs to this big old building with many apartments. And promptly organized the neighbors into a community.

This is her strength. Community builder. So
