In my quest to find like-minded people, who want to better humanity, I am watching videos, and am exposed the feelings of the speaker, commentator, or whoever is in the video.
What prompted this article is a bout of weeping… for no reason.
I am sitting here examining the context inside which this happened, and I Have had no reason to be sad, to weep.
So I ask, somewhat late, this usual question: is this mine? The answer is NO. Does this belong to one of my students? no. one of my readers? no. to the speaker on the video? yes.
Now, this was today. But whenever I watch a sales video… or maybe even read a sales email…
I get the feeling of the person who wrote it.

That’s a loaded question, but it’s a valid question. I have done a lot of observation and thinking on this. I have come to the conclusion that the core issue is stinginess that results in scarcity thinking and scarcity behavior. I will list a few variations: I am sure that you’ll find yourself… This is how it goes: I was feeling her grief, and inner storm for an hour or two, while she was digesting the information. She has calmed down, maybe because it is really late at night in Singapore. And yet I am still with her emotions… I am taken deep into the book I just finished reading, a novel about a couple who lost their 2-year old son. I was struck with the accuracy of the description of the emotions, and wondered if the author wrote from her experience, or if she is an empa Your heart, where rain forests and colorful birds, and life used to live, is devastated. The lush rain forests gone, the birds gone, life: gone. Your ups and downs are tiny, not like a roller coaster. They are about money, or noise, or that you are fat, or skinny, or that you are aging. Irrelevant circumstances. Maybe it is about someone being sick, maybe dying… but that is also a circumstance. Most of us live this way most of the time. We do our jobs, we do our relationships, we do our projects, we do our lives this way. Fulfilling? No. Enjoyable? It depends… Ultimately we are plagued by a nagging sense that we are out of control, that no matter what we do won’t change anything. Some of us feel doomed.
