Misweighing Bias… are you penny wise and dollar foolish?

It’s Tuesday and I just got back from my exercise class.

It was full today. Everyone was in post-holiday mode, except a few people.

I had a conversation with a woman, and had a chance to see how certain words, how certain way of saying what I have been saying lands.

I shared my story, how I escaped becoming mediocre like most people. I said no to coasting with people in my life.

What is coasting? Coasting is pending time with people doing things you do not find rewarding, but they are doing it, a

Do you want to be a Jew?

I want to tell you a little story… because it’s been on my mind for a while, and I need to get it off my chest.

YOU don’t need it. You really don’t want to hear it, because you won’t like what it says about you.

So, it’s OK if you click off now. Good. Now I am alone with the handful of people who want to hear what I have to say. Because it is what makes us this little group of… Jews?

Funny, eh? Let me explain.

Long time ago, over the seas, and the mountains, a little old man, called God was in search of some people. Some people who would take it on themselves to run an experiment, much like the first fish that climbed on dry land.

So this l

My little contest to move you into a capacity you need

I am always suspicious of things, books, movies, series, that are best sellers.

Why? Because if it is likeable by the masses, then it probably is full of low vibration stuff.

The other day I didn’t feel like reading heavy duty stuff, I was craving story. Stories are very important to humans: you get that as you can. Most, alas, gets it in gossip. Facebook, trash sites, click-bait and such.

The vibrational level of gossip is 70. Adjust your vibration to get closer and closer to 70.

Sitting in the living room, pretending to do your own work, while others gossip: you would be sitting in your bedroom if you would ever want to be higher vibration.

Unflinchingly

lying-is-comfortableIt took quite a bit for me to learn that trying to outwardly act like a Buddha won’t make me a Buddha.

The above line is from one of my students.

Really smart guy, isn’t he?

And I bet you can see that the next step he would take after making this really smart statement is to start… start what?

You see, most of what sounds smart is not that smart. Most of what sounds smart is smoke screen, to hide something.

Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is selling something

discover-the-oceanWith some movies I ponder for years why I liked it.

One of these movies is The Princess Bride. Why do I love The Princess Bride? Why do I watch it a few times a year, especially when my energy level is low?

Because, for me, the movie is about persistence. It’s about working towards something remote and maybe even impossible, and yet…

There are a ton of amazing quotable sayings in that movie… here is one:

Buttercup: You mock my pain!
Man in Black: Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

I like everything in the movie, but get especially energized by the Spaniard. Afte

Casting errors in movies and what you can learn from them for your life

my-left-footWhat is wrong with movies, TV series, that I can’t stomach… or barely?

I am talking about good stories. I am talking about shows with good or passable actors, good directing… And yet the show is scarcely enjoyable because the character doesn’t fit. the inner world of the character is off… tells a different story.

Like the serial killer in The Fall… more about it later.

I have been pondering this for the past few months when there are less and less stuff to watch, and I have less and less ambition to fill my day with work.

And finally I got it.

In fact some movie director lead me to it. He said: I prefer to let an actor do

You are trying to eat soup with a fork…

entraining-you-for-stupidityIt’s perplexing to watch humans trying to eat soup with a fork.

Because while industry, science have advanced, humans, the race, has gone backwards.

As a race.

Backwards in intelligence… intellect, emotional, social, relationship, etc.

And obviously in vibration.

Pam Ragland‘s theory was (is?) that it is negativity that is doing it.

But I watched the 26 people in her course, where she wiped the negativity, and people’s behavior, their affinity to learning new tricks, growing, did not change.

I worked as a friend and coach with some of them, and I can tell you: wiping aw

You have habits, thought patterns, beliefs, practices that guarantee that your life will not change, especially won’t change for the better.

When you do a course, read a book, or talk to a coach, you want to do and change the most important thing about your life: drop 30 pounds, start a new business, or leave your husband.

You are unprepared.

You are like a medical student: you need to practice surgery on cadavers before you cut open your mother or father… translating for those that can’t see the forest for the trees: you need to develop the practices that are building blocks for a good life.

The opposite of creativity is timidness. ((And cowardice, and complacency, and having your hand out, and hoping that other people will do it for you. Am I describing you?))

Back to square one… How to grow from where you are begins with…

why-do-i-succeedI’ve been quiet.

I am working through some stuff… nothing personal, it’s about you. It’s about what to teach you. How to teach you. It’s about seeing, in more detail, and more precisely what is the truth about you, so I can talk to you the way you can hear me.

The more precisely I can “diagnose” what is the situation with you, the more effective my message and my teaching can be.

But, it seems no matter how precise my teaching, it is not really up to me, or my teaching, what will happen to you or your life.
