What you value and in what order… why you are off… and why you are unhappy, unfulfilled, living a meaningless life

your load... intrinsicallyA lot of why’s are answered here… why you can’t get well, why you are not happy, etc.

People are the highest value in the universe. Why? Because they are able to be all levels of values, the thinking mind (systemic), the extrinsic (create tools, cook food, provide pleasure), and the intrinsic.

You live, predominantly on one level, and value what is on that level most.

Depending on how closely your valuation matches the valuation that is “godly”, or the Original Design, you fulfill the purpose of being human.

Why getting well is so difficult for us, people without a Self

This morning I was hit with a strong feeling of despair, loneliness.

I didn’t have time to hang out with it, I was in the middle of something. I wanted to shoo it away, and I also wanted to indulge in it.

But then I decided to just feel it, acknowledge it, and let it go. I paid attention to what it said… nodded, wept a little, and let it go.

Is this familiar to you? I didn’t think so. You don’t know who you are, and you don’t want to find out.

There are many reasons you don’t know yourself.

One of these reasons is that you resist your emotions.

As I am going through my own program, and I am a totally aware person, and can muscle test and get answers right away… I am a testing laboratory.

I have been noticing brain or cognitive function symptoms the past two days: as if I were disoriented… it feels now every day that it’s Sunday… lol.

Being judgmental is a result of your health number being low

  • One of my ex-students got offended when I suggested that she does her homework instead of having excuses. She left and she stopped visiting my site… I felt the ‘F… you’ from her… When I asked yesterday if she was angry, she said… “No, I just need to grow thicker skin…” Her health number is 7%.
  • One of my students took two years to finally get a job, because in her last job she felt judged… for being different. She is Chinese in a predominantly White country. Once I adjusted her diet… she is flying. She went from 10% to 50% in her health number.
  • Another student is judgmental and doesn’t listen. She lives in systemic… even in the areas of food, marriage, children, smart… not a single step outside of it. Her health number is 7%.

First, learn to see… that is what being astute is about

Put a business-person in front of a cat and ask them to draw a picture…

cat-cartoonScrawled on the page, with rare exception, you’ll see some kind of two-dimensional, cartoonish line-drawing of a cat. Not the cat sitting in front of that person, but the representation of a cat that person was taught to draw as a kid. The one that’s been imprinted on that person’s mind since she was nine. And they’ve got no idea that’s what they’ve just drawn. They just laugh it off and say, “I can’t draw.”

Put an artist in front of that same cat and you’ll get something quite different. A three-dimensional, shaded, life-like image of the actual cat. Well, of course, you say, she’s an artist. Thing is, that explains why the image is beautifully drawn, but it doesn’t explain why one person drew a “stock-art” cat that existed in her head and the other drew what she saw in front of her.

The difference is that the artist was trained and practiced not just in the art of drawing, but in the art of seeing. Dropping the filters, leaving behind the childhood patterns and imprints that stopped her from observing what was actually right in front of her. The objective image, rather than the conjured illusion of sight.

You can’t hope to draw the truth or build on the truth until you see and know the truth.

The non-artist never learned this, so she defaulted to pattern-recognition. And the sadder thing is, she had no idea she was doing this.

The best of the best don’t just do more with what they see, they see more before they do.

I wonder what might happen if we all spent more time learning to see?

Now, how and why does it apply to you? Because it is not only artists, or not artists that inhabit the world. It is you… and someone who can see more… more truthfully, closer to how it actually is.

The second part is illustrated by Charlie Munger… Intelligence by MY standards is 130, which is probably 160 or so on the IQ tests, uses 40 spiritual capacities to understand and apply all the knowledge that he gleaned from his studies of psychology and other social sciences, to fulfill his bottomless curiosity.

In 2005, Charlie decide to revise his talk from memory and unassisted by any research. Because he thought he could do better at age 81 than he did more than ten years earlier when he knew less and was more harried by a crowded life and was speaking from rough notes instead of revising transcripts. You may need to listen to it a lot… and even then you probably won’t hear a lot… because you lack the capacities, the curiosity, the desire to learn and see the world correctly.

But if you do, your reward will be the good life…

I dare to say that the source of unhappiness, lack of success, lack of health is these cognitive biases: your inability to see what is, and your tendency to be fooled.

So after reading the article about the three levels of value, you probably start to see a little bit the difference how the different levels of value change what assessment you make, how your appraisal, evaluation, estimation, measurement, judgment will be, looking from that level.

So let’s look a little deeper and see with examples how that looks.

Where you are speaking from is as important as what kind of value you are judging.
