One of the most desired possibilities, one of the most desired life anyone can have is a life where you are free to be yourself, warts and all.
It is human nature to be self-critical, it is because of our ambivalent nature of feeling everything and the opposite.
There is no one on the planet who is all good. It is not possible. It is a physical impossibility. It’s unnatural.
You have to be good and you have to be bad, and you have to have high thoughts and you have to have low thoughts. Actions: you have a choice about. But feelings, thoughts… no choice.
When something isn’t working consider that it’s because there is something that you don’t know.
Whether the something that isn’t working is money, love, health, business, school… the answer is always “there is something you don’t know.”
The brilliance of this statement that turned a broke loser, a serial nebbich, Harv Eker into a multimillionaire T. Harv Eker. The brilliance is that because you don’t know what it is that you don’t know… you need to open yourself up to looking. At everything. And a lot… Expose yourself to seeing stuff. He did it, and he is now rich. This one sentence, this one statement, this one habit.
This isn’t what he teaches, because this statement gives you all the power, and you don’t buy stuff when you have the power… He is so rich because no one understand this statement… But why?
One of my “favorite” practices is this:
I find out that I misunderstood something. It cost me… It always does.
I ask the question: I wonder what else I misunderstand? I wonder what else I misread? I wonder where else I am sure I understand and I don’t.
Or I make a mistake… Where else do I make a mistake like this? Or this same mistake…
Because how you do anything is how you do everything!

Knowing what you want to achieve, is one thing that is missing in you. Another name for that is called “mental representation” of what you want to achieve.
Mental representation is a detailed picture, so detailed and so tangible, that you can pinpoint where reality is deviating from it… and how.
Mental representation is a spiritual capacity that sits squarely on a lot of other spiritual capacities, so obviously it is not part of the first seven most people have, not even part of the first 13, many professionals have, not even part of the first 20, that doctors have. And, believe it or not, it is not even part of the first 30, that most millionaires, billionaires have.
Bill Gates doesn’t have it. Warren Buffet has it.
Whoever thought that the well-meaning positive thinking will become a prison and a sentence to a ‘no joy life’ for most who become a “practitioner” of it, about 80% of humanity at this time.
Whether you know it or not, your powers of comprehension depend on your powers of distinguishing.
In the old est training, the trainers came to the room on the first day blasting: “for you everything is the same as everything else…” and they were as accurate as accurate they would be today: you can’t tell your ass from your elbow.
This is true for everybody, including yours truly… the difference is only in degrees. No one is exempt from it.
The capacity to see differences clearly is called astuteness. The capacity to tell apart similar things, to name them and claim them.
